is the standard ep82 ecu manipulatable in anyway?

nope.just piggyback fuel controllers,FCD that ya can wire into them etc.

there was a guy that was on about chipping them so they can be re-mapped. not sure if it was on this forum or another one but some crazy guy mad into electronics that had done it with a celica/mr2 one before was talking about it iirc. have a search through the forums you might find it

there was a hack for removing the fuel cut by changing a crystal but there's easier ways to do that.
