wel.. i have a car parked up for a while. when i drive slow it is ok. but when i drive on and stop still running the engine bay steams.. and when parked and revving steam and water comes out the top over flow on the rad,, any ideas? could it be thermostat or head? thanks:

seems like a heagasket mybe

change out your thermostat and rad cap if that dosn't solve it its you head gasket as already said

is the rad cap the correct one for the rad?
I'd check the thermostat and rad cap first.
if that's okay, then a test to see if the headgasket is FUBAR.

not sure about the steam problem but the radiator cap sounds like its the incorrect model... I had the overflow going all the time when I bought my car because of the previous owner not having the correct cap on (so when pressure was supposed to build up under heat, it would leak). If you have CPC products where you are, try part code 560-90... your cap should look something like this.
