Anyone know how to do it, is there a guide anywhere? what happens with the airbag and the airbag light?

u have o disconnect the battery for so long then just go for it, as for the airbag ight, most pl just cover it up with black tape or that or let the buld hang out the back of the dash!

the airbag will be unplugged so i would assume that the airbag light will stay on as with most cars. you can either remove the bilb, or bridge the correct wires in the plug.

remember to disconnect the battery 1st

Step 1) disconnect battery for a good while

Step 2) remove screws either side of wheel iirc some dont come out completely they hold the airbag section in

Step 3) remove airbag revealing inside where the big mother of a bolt that holds wheel on, undo bolt

Step 4) While wiggling up down left right pull off old wheel, try to pull off wheel at the same angle as the rack. common error is people pull off wheel at a slight angle lodging wheel making it a lot more difficult.

Step 5) add new hub+wheel and connecting horn JOB DONE!!

as for airbag light there is a fuse you can remove or simply remove the bulb

;)

Please make sure you disconnect the battery for a while, I don't want the bag blowing in your face like it blew in to mine! :haha:

you removing that wheel permanently? i like the later wheel, they are nice looking.
also, won't it void your insurance? case in the courts in this country a few months ago where i guy crashed with the airbags removed, police didn't like it too much
