That is a lot of fuel for 0.8 bar mate! I would take it to another tuner with a different wideband just to make sure it's setup correctly as they do need callibrating.

Thats what i was thinking, is there anything else that could cause it to need more pressure? Like fuel filter? I dont think its been changed in 14 years or so lol

Anyone else know what could cause high fuel pressure? Pressure if defo to high and need to sort it asap! Any help will be repd!

in my case it was the factory fuel filter just change it to a mahle one around 20 euro and all is ok now , change that and then see, it could be also the timing

Have got a fuel filter to go on so will try that but will mean i have to go back on the rollers which i cant afford untill en of month. Im pretty sure the timing is spot on, would the distributor slightly in the wrong place cause it?

Mine does the exact same pal, my waste gate is ported too, I dropped my actuator that low that I had no boost at all! Put one turn back on and like ya say 4500rmp it's pulling for a bar and cutting! Pissing me right off tbh thinking of putting the standard actuator back on and running on low boost to see if it stops

Just a quick question for every1, when my car was on the rollers the rrfpr was fitted and adjusted accordingly, seems its running 4.2 bar on idle and rises when boost hits. Is this too high? Ever since the fuel pressure was set its eating petrol like no 2moro!! On the graph afr's were bang on all across the rev range so not running lean or anything. What else could lead towards it using more fuel?

Are you 100% sure the fuel pressure was set at 4.2 bar and not 42 psi? 4.2 bar is way too high but 42 psi is about 2.9 bar which is about right. Either you are reading it wrong or the tuner read it wrong on the day because there is no good reason to run 4.2 bar fuel pressure on your setup

Yep its defo set at 4.2 bar, i went back to the tuners yesterday and they basically said that it needed to be set to that otherwise i was leaning out.. And the afrs were bang on all the way through the rev range and car runs fine. Its not overfuelling as i dont get black smoke or starting problems or a fuelly smell so dont have a clue why its reading so high. Could be the fuel pressure regulator as its not a decent one so could be reading wrong. Apparently the tuner said aslong as my afrs are bang on and the car runs fine he done see what the problem is

Change the fuel filter buddy and then see if you get black moke/fuel smell. If you do you'll have to go back to the tuners for it to be setup again as 4.2 bar is a hell of a lot of pressure for that boost.

I think the filter maybe still standard as when i got the car she only had a standard ct9 and just a front mount really

Well, I can't speak for the boost creep problem but I have seen enough cars to know that just because the fuel pump is working, doesn't mean its working properly. I would take it out and seen if its a standard pump or uprated. If its standard then its more than likely the first day pump and never been replaced with a new pump. It does happen but I personally have never seen a fuel pump just stop working, they just slowly get worse and worse over time. Without actually seeing the car it sounds to me like the pump is working but when it comes under heavy load it can no longer cope with the demands of the engine which is why the tuner had to bump up the fuel pressure to such a high level in order to compensate.
