I have bought one for my eg civic hatch but for the life of me I cannot find a straight answer on how much to tighten the bolts. I have looked on the internet and have found answers anywhere from 10 to 100 ft/lbs. Many answers also seem to be around 24/25 ft/lbs but I would really rather find out for sure as getting anything wrong that has anything to do with suspension will without doubt end badly.

Any help would be great, cheers.

That means its not a job for you mate. just go to a mechanic or local garage or even the breakers yard. they know how much to tighten even without the help of a torque wrench. its not rocket science. just tighten it like you tighten your wheel lug nut but not as hard to break them. its best you go to the places ive mentioned above. will give you peace of mind :)
