I'm just getting into working on cars myself really and even though I read plenty of magazines I am still lost on this subject. This coming summer I'm planning on buying a Paseo motor (5EFE) and either paying to get the rods and pistons replaced with 5efhe and 4efte parts or doing it myself. But my problem comes with picking a turbo for the car. My mechanic friend has a t3/t4 hybrid turbo that he originally purchased for his Eclipse but never used, and he's willing to sell for $200 US... After looking around this and a few other sites I see that the TD04 and CT-9 are much more popular so would I spend less looking for one of those since I still need a manifold and downpipe?
