Taking the car off the road.

Just taken my car off the road today so I can get started on my engine build. Does anyone have any tips on keeping the shell protected? I don't have the luxury of a garage and live next to the sea.. It's under a cover and has been waxed. Anything else I can do?

Any ideas?

Take the cover off every few dry days as they can hold moisture in mate and give it a quick wash should be sound if thats done
