Td04 set up with a universal cat

Hi all..
Been searching and cant find my answer on here..
I've often thought about going for a Td04 set up on the glanza. But the idea of changing back to the ct9 every year for the nct/mot to pass the emissions test puts me off tbh..
Has anyone used a universal cat like in this link http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5-Magnaflow-Universal-Catalytic-Cat-Converter-94106-New-Same-Day-Shipping-/110825544759 on a td04 set up? would be handy to just have a section of the exhaust removed to fit the cat and have a decat made up to suit?

that should work fine. you will loose some bhp, but nothing noticeable tbh. i would consider a sports cat if my cars needed one for the emissions test.

Youd loose the bhp with the cat in.. but itd only be a ten minute job to take out if you put flanges on the cat to bolt in instead of welding it in and if you made a decat to suit aswell..
