Cant buy flex, monoflex replaced them. Improved dampening for softer settings or something

Oh, gay!

The Teins look like they have pillowball top mounts as well don't they? Or are my eyes decieving me?! Do the Type Flex go low?

get the teins mate...i ve got K-Sport on my car, alltho i would change em with something stiffer (buddy clubs or TRDs) the teins overrun ksport in quality. ksport is allright but its not tein.

What about the fact that the K Sport are newer (approx 6 months old) and I don't know how old the Tein's are exactly, they came on an imported Glanza.. So I don't know what would last longer!

Are the K Sport not silly harsh then?

i have the HA coilovers with pillowball top mounts dropped about 100mm all round with camber set up, just about clears speed bumps!

they are stiff as hell and great for handling with pillowball top mounts. I wouldnt say they are comfy on anything but a completely smooth road!!

they are stiff and a bumpy ride but handling benefits come at that cost bro.

heres a pic of how low i have gone. bear in mind my wheels are 14's with 195/50/14 so the underside of the car is low, camber is also setup for fast comfortable cornering.

mine dont scrape at all even over bumps if set up well.

they are adjustable in every way possible and are can be set up differently for each persons preference. i prefer the ride to d2's personally.

this is how it looks on the road dropped on 14's with 55 wall tyres

it can also go about another 50mm lower!!!

that's an issue then. imo i'd save up and buy brand new coilovers then:p

ksports aint too harsh, they are a little less stiff than the d2 (given the personal settings of the 2 suspensions).

Tough choice!

The only thing drawing me towards me to the K Sports now is the fact that they are nearly new so I know they have life in them! The coilovers could be 5 years old for all I know! :S

How about shortening the shocks and compressing the springs? Would let you slam your ride much lower than coilovers and for alot cheaper.

I think I'm going for the K Sports. Mainly because I am fully aware of the condition and age of them, whereas I don't know about the Tein Type Flex ones! Wish me luck!!!

Hey Idrees,i just put on a brand new set of these Ksport coilovers and trust me. i paid $918usd shipped and let me tell you m8,this was money well spent .the car handles like a train and the ride isn't bad at all.And beside ,i dont believe you can find a coilover with all this different kinds of adjustments. It has camber plates on the front, you can set the camber on the nuckle as well cause the bolt hole on the top is illongated so camber can also be set there ,height can be set by winding up against the spring or down below by the nuckle .and to ice the cake, all of them are 36 way adjustable which comes with a little allen key tool ,you use to harden or soften the shocks.I love this ;)
