as matt said, they dont go really low. they are fine for backroads and stuff where i thrash about, but if you want lower then your best bet would be the meister r's

If you use any shorter springs, then one of two things can happen.

You can have a big gap between the springs, which will make noise and it is a straight MOT/TUV failure.
I wouldn't do that as I don't ever think it is SAFE at all, but different people have different opinion.

You can use a shorter springs with a helper springs, but knowing that the Tein Super Street is a single perch coilovers, you will most likely run out of damper stroke travel and be hitting the bump stop.
This will create an uncomfortable ride and probably kill your damper in no time.

So in short, there really isn't a way to drop your Tein Super Street any lower because the coilovers wasn't design to run low at all.
They probably find out what is the limit and only let you have that much adjustments, any lower will make the ride total rubbish if you ask me.

Sell them too me and buy meisters lol. Another starlet on skyhooks. never worry lad they'll settle down abit in a few weeks of driving.
Look at it this way the ideal ride-height for a starlet is approx 325mm from the wheel centre to the edge of your arch, go measure yours.
Also dont freak out if the rear arches are different cause the axle sits alittle to the one side which makes it look like a big gap on the rear drivers side

meisters ar the lowest are they?

The Zeta-R for the EP82/91 are build specifically for the chassis, and therefore it isn't model off another chassis such as the Tercel.

They are as low as you can have a set of coilovers with acceptable amount of ride height adjustments and adequate springs/damper travel.

To design a set of coilovers that will go any lower will mean giving up suspension travel and therefore it will affect the fast road performance and comfort of the dampers.

There are always way to make a coilovers go lower.
But the Zeta-R are design to go low while remaining comfortable and compliant for the uneven UK roads surfaces that we drive on everyday.

meistre Rs go very low.infact i can just fit a finger between the arch and tyre and mine will still go lower the top of the arch covers a bit of the wheel.the front will go much lower but its too low as it is on bumpy roads.i set mine too low really cause hard cornering and pretty average bumps mean scrape!but hopefully i can get loads of handling goodies and stiffen it up so it dosent roll as much!but they do go low!i would put a pic up if i was a registered user to show you
