sussex GTI, you've had some great hot hatches. I've always fancied owning a pug gti, they are supposed to be great fun. Plus very tidy mk1 golf and ax gti.
My cars in order
- mk1 golf 1.1 (3rd door in black - my favourite and wish I'd never sold it. I'll buy another one day)
- Metro GTI (nicked 7 times, had to sell it)
- Pug 106 1.1
- Starlet Turbo EP82
- Rover 216 GSI Auto (Awful - av. about 20mpg)
- Citroen Xantia diesel
- Mitsubishi FTO GPX (mivec) - sold for wedding
- Rover 200d (bought for £650, lasted 3 years, only required oild changes and averaged 50mpg - fantastic runabout)
- BMW 330D (very nice)
- CBR 600f (very nice)
- Mercedes C43 AMG 4.3ltr v8 - prefered the look of the merc, the drive of the BMW
- Peugeot 1007 HDI sport (current)
- Toyota Starlet EP82, TD04 (current track / wkend car)
I still haven't found anything that beats my golf mk1 for fun. It only had 4 gears and a 1.1ltr engine but was just great. As for power in a low cost hatch, the starlet is difficult to beat.
