Think my engine just blew up !! ( what are my options??? )

Well today has just been a kick in the nutts as im certain the horrible noise i heard before grinding to hault on the main road was engine failure !!! will have to wait to hear this wk what actualy happened once the surgens open her up lol .

just wondering what options i have now if it is mechanical failure or not , do i send my engine away to get fixed or do i source a new forged engine ???

does anyone kno of places where to source new forged engines or just buy pre-built ready to drop in forged engines ???

any help or information on the matter would be much appreciated thanks.

oops!! sounds like sum1's run the big ends out. i am in the middle of trying to source an engine and its bloody hard to get hold of anything.

well the supprising thing is that nothing went flying out the sides or smoke/steam etc was visible but the cringing noise of mechanical rattling banging about is if anything the last i expected , will wait to here the damage this wk but i kno it aint gona be good !!! but more embarassing when heap of ppl coming bk from crail beaping there horn at you while trying to hide in yer car at the side of the road lol , so far i see tuning developments looking good for a forged engine £1950 delivered ..

Yeah mate after knockhill we seen it :( I just bought same wheels as yours but in white :)

Try Agra for a build there amazing my engine still going with no issues amazing quility from them guys in dundee and it was running big bhp before I bought it and still as strong as a ox :)

Sorry for your loss buddy :(
I would pay the extra for a forged engine because it was properly built and it should have warranty on it :)

A clutch damaging a forged engine?

I run a blitz active clutch on my forge with not one issue and blitz is a savage expensive clutch so can't see a clutch damaging a crank

Well am joining the forgey club lol , car going to tuning developments to get stage 2 forged engine and going td04l at the same time also getting it tuned and run in with a EManage ultimate ecu !!! Surely this means awsome power and less problems as I have had lol .
