i think if you open alll the little allen screws on the alloy diagphram housing it will open up, peel the orange digphram up carelully and there is a nut under neat that you can tighten up to hold it still. dont quote me on it, as its a long time i opened it up, but i think im right in sayin it ok.

thats great dude, im abit cautios opening it up as iv heard you can damage the diaphram when putting it all back together!?

I would like to know if its loose could it cause boost leak etc?

nah you should be orite, aslong as the digphrams sitting nicely and you make sure the lid goes on square when u put it back on, itll be firne. twisting it ,when its like it is now, is more likely to damage it rather than when opening it up.

I've never had a tial wastegate that's able to twist. There's not much to go wrong if you undo the Allen bolts and remove the cap, just hold onto the cap when you loosen it or the spring will fly out.

Sorted and was easy to do lol. If anyone planning to remove theres alone, get some cable ties inbetween the holes to help tightening it down if you dont have a clamp. You also may need someone to compress the spring if that fails.
