ticking sound

i have this very low ticking sound coming from the engine bay, i have just replaced my ICV due to my other been fooked. what happens is when i disconect the sensor from the ICV the ticking sound goes away and as soon as i plug it back in makes the ticking noise any ideas on what this could be??

hmm my other one didnt tick is that becouse was fooked then?

i would assume so, i quizzed this a few months ago, and was told the ticking is normal

i have no idea mate,but mine has always ticked ,i have been on here over 2 years and everyone says it ticks,the reason i dont know
