Tightening rear wheel bearings

Be hand tight. Size 22. As tighter they are harder the wheel is to rotate/spin hope this answers your question

remove and add a little extra grease. refit and do up hand tight and then nip a bit more with a ratchet or similar (not too tight). fit the wheel. turn the wheel a couple of times. undo the nut and just lightly nip up. feel for a rocking in the bearing by holding the wheel at 12 and 6 oclock. you want to tighten and loosen until you get it at the sweet spot where you can just feel a very slight bit of movement in the bearing.
once you have it there, you are done.
