Tom's New Action Paint Code?

Hey all

Ive been routing through the internet trying to find information on the red lip paint code, does anyone happen to know a paint code for the red lip on the toms new action wheels?

I dont think there is a paint code, the lip is anodised which costs a fair amount to get done I think.

Yeah i took one of my rims to a specialist restorer and he told me there anodised which very little people do anymore, he said he will have to paint them to get a close match, im just wondering if theres any paint codes which are a similar finish, maybe candy apple red? never seen that colour in the flesh but appears to look similar?

I think your best of going to a paint shop and telling them to match the colour and give you a paint code for the closest one.

I don't think you'll be able to match the look of anodizing with paint. Anodizing uses Dye to colour the metal, not paint over it IIRC.

Just choose a nice metallic light red to make it look metally..... or try and get hold of this:

Does it not work well? and im after some close paint matchs...

Just search for a company that can anodise it for you. You have to bring a second rim with the correct colour so they can match it as close as possible.
