yes loads of them here in malta. one of the most popular models after the yaris/vitz and the tercel. they are more known over here as corolla II or windy. sometimes even tercel:homer: there are the 96-97 model and the facelift model 98-00(don't know exactly about the years). the facelift model mostly of them are commonly found with a brown(shit) interior. all of which i know have a 1.5 turbo diesel engine with full extras(mostly) and automatic transmission(mostly). a couple of have had a 4efte conversions over here. they are not imported anymore now if i'm not mistaken.

probably as they seem to use same chassis too if i'm not mistaken. it looks like a glanza engine bay apart from the radiator reservoir.
