1 Phil Cutler ......................58.63
2 Barrie Newsome ..............59.19
3 Gregory Jones ................59.54
4 Peter Coleman ...............60.62
5 Pete Grimmer .................61.33
6 Gavin Mycock ................64.05
7 Vykki Hoult ....................66.76

The day was really good fun and offered a different challenge to Rockingham. I was losing time on the longer straights because I was in the quad light running a standard engine. I couldnt push the car any harder but I hope to have the MK1 running for the next round so I will have some more power to play with. (Sponsors welcome ;) )

Phill Cutler was running a mk1 MR2 Supercharged shared with Vykki Hoult.

A massive well done must go to David Brooks in the 1600 N/A Starlet who ran a 56.64

I was planning on entering this next season, all money money money tho :p

Doesn't cost that much mate. Visit the TSS website and add everything up, you pay for rounds about a month before the event so its spread nicely across the year.

Yer i looked on the website at the rules and regs which my car will pass all them apart from the side exit exhaust but i can fit the full system.

I saw it was about £70 for the last 1 when i looked.

Do you get many runs at these or is there alot of waiting?

Do each category run at once then the next?

I got 8 runs this time, we had an open pit lane at the end of the day but I didnt bother going out.
There isnt much waiting, by the time you get back to the pits, add more fuel and remove the grass from your wheel arches (that last one is probably just me) its time to line up again.

Nice going mate, the wee quadlamp looks aggressive and that's a solid result.

How much are you charging per decal then? :haha:

I am after parts. The MK1 is very naked at the moment and is looking for some nice big decals for the sides.

This is me chatting to Greg Jones before a run. He has both sides and the rear covered in sponsors.

So there is plenty of room for anyone who is willing to help. Full reports are sent to magazines from the organisers with normally pictures of the winning vehicles plus I will be attending car shows throughout the year so your company logo will be seen a lot.

Just found out about this Toyota Sprint Series, it sounds like a great idea. You don't have to worry about hitting other cars and a time attack format shouldn't put too much strain on the engine and other components like a trackday does. Would love to do this!
