Track rod end/Rack end ?

Been having a knocking coming from the front for a while now, thought it was N/S Wheel bearing as theres also a constant noise coming from there.. Took it to my mates garage today.. He said turn the wheel back and for slightly and i got a knocking noise.. Then put it on full lock, and if he put pressure on the track rod/rack end the noise stopped..

Is this just new Track rods needed ? could it be Steering rack ? Also why do my passengers feel a knock through the floor when driving straight.. Could both left and right track rod ends be gone ?

And also can someone point me in the right direction to get track rod ends if thats what is needed.. MOT coming up so wanna get it all sorted before then

If you shake the actual wheel from side to side (left to right) with it up in the air and get a knocking its more than likely track rod end. If you try shaking it up and down could be shocker, have you checked anti roll bar link they can cause a knocking if its knackered.
