Anybody had a quote for insurance with one, Been looking at tracker.com and they start at just £499, which is cheap peace of mind if they reduce your insurance too, just wondering if anybody had looked into this?

Great for peace of mind, but the discount isn't that great.

They reduce your insurance but then you have to pay an annual subscription which wipes out the discount and then leaves you paying more in total.

Having had 3 cars with trackers I would only get one if you can be sure you will have the car in say 4 or 5 years time and your car is highly desirable and at a risk of being stolen (i.e. you park in dodgy areas or you have a 2k sound system or local people know it has 200bhp)

They used to give you an option to pay a one off fee so you don't have to pay a subscription.
