tuning developments wms 4 pot kit

hi guys im looking at buying this kit, what i want to know is there real difference between 275mm x 22mm Brake Discs to 277mm x 25mm Brake Discs

any one else using these can they tell me what they are like?

The basics are:

275x22...
- Lighter, better for handling.
- Thinner, gives 3mm more room from caliper to wheel spokes.

277x25...
- Heavier, more thermal mass so can absorb more energy for a given degree-C rise.

obviously the price difference is negligable so doesn't really matter but will I notice any difference in performance on the road if any? Would the difference's only ever be felt with very heavy prolonged track use?

To be honest a lot depends on the driver's style! 75% of people would be suited to the 22mm kit I expect.

If you are prone to roast your brakes all the time even with uprated pads, or are trackday mad, then the 25mm one makes sense.

Put it this way, if I was building a trackday car I would try the 275x22 ones first, and resort to the 25mm ones if needs be! The only parts needed to switch are the caliper bolts/bridge spacers and of course the discs - everything else is the same.
