Turbo Question

Another TD04 one Yes I know I should know better!

However, I have the TD04L off the 2001 Bugeye WRX, but wanted to know if the turbo's from the 2002, 2003, 2004 etc WRX use the same turbo?

If not, what are the differences?

I saw a TD04L from a 99 WRX which looked the same as mine, but read somewhere the turbo's of the later models are stronger?

Basically, seen a turbo from a 2002 WRX but not sure what the differences are. I want one same as I'm using to hybrid for my forged build.

Oh, and why I'm at it...can you buy the circlips for the actuator seperate from Subaru? Or does anyone know the size and where I can get one?

My TD04l came off a 05 WRX,

Not sure on the technical side of things but its bigger than the ct9 haha,

As for the circlip you should be able to get one from a local hard ware store doesnt have to be direct from Subaru.

there are very small variations from one production year to another.. from what iv read the best one is from the post bugeye.. ie the 2003 model scoob.. the variations vary from housing names to trims.. so its pretty big the range..

i believe the clip you want is an E clip Gee.
any hardware store should have them i would have thought!
