Hi

I recently had a toad cat 1 alarm fitted and about a week and half later i started having problems with my turbo timer not kicking in.. i had it checked over... and they told me that who ever fitted my alarm had wire into the turbo timer... Now i don't know much about alarms and how there wired up but that doesn't seem right at all why would they have wired into the turbo timer? do you think this the problem cuz if it is ill be giving the alarm installers some ear bashing :slap:. if anyone can help I'd be grateful.

cheers

Alarms and turbo timers don't like each other. The alarm wants to immobilise the car and the turbo timer wants to keep it going, ultimately the alarm wins!

as sam has said they dont like each other... you should be able to get a built in turbo timer into the alarm as this is what they did when they installed my clifford one cost me €80 extra
