Twin scroll turbo set up

I think for a street car you would benefit with a twin scroll setup. The setup would have to be on point for it to work well so alot of trial and error and testing would be required. As even with selecting a proper single scroll turbine for a small motor is difficult because there is no easy scientific method for selecting the ideal A/R ratio.

I think seat of the pants feel is important and that the exhaust manifold design would be critical, so shorter, maybe smaller bore equal primaries packaged in very close to the exhaust ports to retain temp of exhaust heat high as poss to provide more rotational impoetus to the turbine wheel would help.

Most of the twin scroll turbine housing's available are made for bigger motors with big, heavy turbine wheels that require alot of leverage to get them spinning. A172 has tried this and it seem's to work really well with a MHI twinscroll turbine housing so worth looking into this.

yes any information please post up, i would like to see this also.

The turbochargers i was testing were the garrett GT range, and until you got into the GT3076+ range twin scroll made very little difference compared to single. Remember you'll need 2 wastegates as well.
