there may have been attempts by some clown to purchase our domain name that we have taken many years to build up and develop a reputation for and put on the show map, but hey, whats new there, someone wanting to take advantage of others hard work so they dont have to do any of their own.

i have just checked and it appears our fix is still not in place, we had hoped it would be operational during the nite but apparently not. I will chase for updates today and this evening again and will post here and the UKSC facebook as soon as i have some news.

trust me, this pisses me off as much as u guys.

That's not unusual, particularly with established domain names that are due to expire, where there's money to be made there's usually someone somewhere trying to make it. It shouldn't be any cause for concern unless your RSP fucks you over. Typically you should have 75 days from the expire date to renew, however some RSP's will allow as little as 12 hours before trying to sell it on to the highest bidder. I did notice it was only given 5 days before being taken off client hold status, but I would expect there to be at least another 29 days to get this sorted before any real concerns should be setting in.

I don't think there are any doubts you'll have this sorted well before then though.

All

As stated by Phil, please have a little patience we are ALL in need of a fix of UKSC and behind the scenes all is being done to get back up an running, what we dont need as a mark is another forum to fracture us even further.

The one thing i hope evolves from this instance is a working relationship with TGTT, we should use this adversity to build on this relationship once we are up and running, be it Show Stands, RR days etc.

Here's hoping eh!!!

Update

Progress is being made.

We now have access back to the portal page through a temporary URL (http://scot-ep.com) however as yet the boards are not yet active.

i know its still not fixed, but hopefully this will demonstrate that we are heading in the right direction.

I will update again when I can.
