I am thinking about upgrading my turbo to a ct26 do anybody think this is a good idea.

CT26 is quite a large turbo compared to the CT9. If you were wanting to upgrade to that size turbo i would suggest a T25. You will have many options to upsize/downsize without changing manifolds/water/oil/decat and on most you wont have to change inlet/outlet pipes on the compressor side.
And dont think about putting a CT26 just because you have one lying around... Turbo is the cheap side of things, everything else isnt so start with an expandible base.
