i thought that was for heads with rocker arms.

i wondering the same thing though as i dont know for sure especially when i read this

i think that applies to tercel 3e e engine

4efte dont have rocker arms

Yeah that is right. The firt guide is for our shim over bucket OHC 4E/5E engines.

2nd guide is for older one with rocker arms.

Sorting them is fairly simple, just turn engine over so the lowest part of cam lobe is over shim, use feeler guage to measure, write on this down, then you have to get the shims out, measure them and then work out what new size you need
