Are they like red/brown and black? If so then brown to intake side and black the exhaust side.
To be honest i know engines running the other way around and no problem after many years but for mind proposes do it as i stated first.

mmm, i was thinking to hold the headwork as standard, its also special sandblasted and cleaned, so the headwork is fine,:p
But what do i need to port and polish then? intake side? polish?
and exhaust side, make bigger?
i don't know were i need to begin mate,
im going full forged, waiting on the ordered parts of dave, like weisco, scat rods, td04 turbo kit, etc
