how does the vf28 compare to a td04? like spool up etc

when i bought it i was told its not much later than the tdo4 i think about 4000-4500 and it can take 1.6 bar

VF28 is compared to the TD05 16g lag wise mate. My scooby runs a vf28 and its a good turbo and is also a ballbearing turbo (atleast mine is).

so if it has ballbearing then shouldnt that make spool up quicker?

yep, vf28 came on 99-00 STI . it is a singleballbearing turbo
it is much bigger than a wrx td04l . Even if it is ballbearing, it should be much laggier on a small 1300cc. it should be a nice drag turbo thought

yeah pretty sure the vf28 is something that was tried a few months back over here with full boost very late, maybe 5000k+

no harm to your sale though mate as it would be luvly on a 5e or on a 1/4 mile monster!
