vnc connection to another network?

tried that and it was a fail lost all plant comms. the SCADA package doesn't seem to like it when you mess with the local network connection, even when you specify the network it needs to connect too.

That's a bummer. We have a similar set up here although we use routers and servers instead of PC's to control networks, and a route like that allows us to connect to a different gateway and access another internal IP range hidden from DHCP etc.

the rest of the network is like that, we can connect from anywhere to anywhere (if IT allow). its just this particular plant that has been setup like this.

I will keep stabbing in the dark, im sure I will come across some way of doing it somehow.
