if you still have the stock glanza dual core rad you could always get a new GT rad. its single core, so thinner, but plenty up to the job of cooling in this uk climate. will be direct fitment too, no messing about at all, rad fan will also bolt straight on.

can get them on ebay for about £80

when using a civic radiator how do you get it to bolt on i take it you wont be able to use the clips that hold the glanza one on? are the radiator hoses the same size? also do you need a different fan? same with the n/a starlet could you still use the fan off the glanza radiator?

is this the correct civic rad?

you have to do some custom brackets. i use tieclips and work fine. i upgraded the fan to a spal one. not expensive at all. hoses are same size. and cooling is perfect even in this bloody hot weather

i had a civic rad on mines for 2 weeks and it cooled as normal, i cut my wired and connected them to the connector on the civic fan and that cooled fine, i made up a wee bracket for it and it held fine until i hit a massive pothole in glasgow and it snapped, i lost all my water and engine overheated. thankfully there doesnt seem to be any damage or smoke or anything but it was close, so if you do buy a civic rad make sure you have got it secure.

The civic rad outlets can come in two sizes i think its 28mm & 31mm, get the 28mm as thats what stock hose size is for our cars, you can get the hoses to fit 31mm but can be tight, i used my air con fan for a while worked ok, now have a spal fan, if i was you I would try & go for a dual core ali rad although some people ran the std civic single core rads with no problems, depending on what set up your running etc.
