Bit of a daft question that int it bud. Theyr not really aimed at bhp increase. Theyr more of a safety device really, they allow u to run a leaner fuel mixture basically because they keep engine temperatures down...
Theres more to my explanation but its late n my head hurts....

not really as they can offer a small increase and if not setup correctly can cause serious det! so set up on dyno would be best bet!

and you are correct on the safety part if set up properly!

Well, I would not say it is daft...anything that can cause a HP increase may need additional air/fueling. If this is not compensating for, then you can get det?

I don't know what the A/F ratio is at the top end off the top of my head either.

I know it is not a massive increase, but I would not be willing to risk it.

Well, that's my theroy.

You do not need to get a remap when you use this kit.

Main use is that in the last few psi...you set it to open then,so that you can run full boost on the hot days.

People will actually not map it for water injection.
