What alternator 4efte

First of all i would like to thank you guys for all the responses in my previous posts it has all been very helpful.

I have read that these days when you buy a new alternator for our cars the plug type might be different and requires cutting/splicing

Where did you guys buy your alternators from? is there one that will directly fit? i also read one case where some people had to shave the bracket a little, its for a 1997 glanza V.

Personally I just get a local auto spark to rebuild it, normally the rectifier goes and is relatively cheap part

check your part number on the alternator or try toyodiy with your chassis number...should help in getting the correct one for your car

or do as skiny suggested, use a reputable shop and it should be as good as new
