What colour to Paint calipers?opinions please

Depends if you have a colour scheme bud, i.e what colour some of your parts in the engine bay or interior are etc. Best way i found was to wirewheel or something similar fit it to a drill. Then for bits that it cant do work away with sandpaper. Then clean it all done with white spirit and then mask up, prime, paint!

gold would look nice? try a wire brush or a grinder maybe to get the old paint off

you can use a paint stripper - brake setups have to be off the car though. if not, use the drill and wire-brush head idea.
like Johnboy GT says, it would help if you had a color scheme. mine are red & blue (red brake pistons with blue caliper mounts) but since you've already been down the red road, you could go for bright yellow or even luminous green like the high spec porsches and lambos..

black all the way. i have some calipers i am re-doing in black. were yellow and looked shit. was badly done and was all flaking off and runs everywhere.

i guess it's all a matter of preference. if you get it well done (paint-wise), it will last.. unless of course you didn't like the color in the first place. i see most painting their calipers the same color as the car. that would really depend on what kinda rims you have though. the more 'airy' your rims, the better this appeal..
