what difference does the anti lift kit make?

They change the angle and dynamic camber and they shift the bumps and waight ect from the chassis to the suspension what allows to go into corners a little harder good bit of kit so they are

i am near sure that is wat they do lol

Gives more caster angle so improve camber gain in cornering (when you tilt the wheel).
The steering will be heavier and less responsive tough.

I heard if you have coilovers won't make any difference at all! Must be a great kit with a standard suspension though!

Well, speak to ANT if you want he has both installed on his car - and he considered it like a waste of money!

I say again - probably would help a lot on a standard suspension!

That's interesting, would be good to get opinions from people who have got both coilovers and the antilift kit installed. can anyone confirm this?

If you got a coilover with camber plates adjusted with a lot of static camber you may end up having too much when cornering with the ALK.
In that case you can lower the static camber via the camber plates and raise the caster angle so you will have the correct camber in corners.

I have neither! I would rather spend the money on the rear antiroll bar or lower profile tyres than that if I really wanted to improve my handling!

On the other hand - if you have the coilovers and rear is rock solid - very stiff - what's the point of having the ALK? it won't lift anyway and the castor can be adjusted without the kit!

But it would be interesting to see the reviews if the ALK help with the shock and lowered springs???

i was asking a genuine question? i didnt think you could adjust the caster on a starlet with out the kit so was just asking how you would do it?
