what motorbike to get

Hi guys
Well sold my 5th starlet last week and now im looking for a motorbike im not quite sure which bike to get, ill be doing my test in a few months so this will be my 1st road bike so not much experience but I use to do a bit of off roading.
The bike wont be used all the time just on nice days so any info would be highly appreciated

I'v got 1999 r6 and 1991 vfr400, the r6 is a great bike a bit twitchy out of the corners if your giving it yee haa!! Haha but the Vfr never fails to put a massive grin on your face not as fast as r6 but the ability it's got in the twisties is second to none! I'v put a lot of bigger to shame on it, reminds me a lot of my glanza. Got to get your license mate, you won't regret it!!

Thanks for the info mate. Just want to know would a r6 be suitable for me bearing in mind I have hardly ridden on the road and its going to be my 1st bike.
I know I wont regret it lol cars just dont do it for me anymore
