What it is, iv recently acquired a peugeot 406 hdi on an x plate, its an ex taxi 157000 miles on the clock. needs a rear tie bar, rear hub bush, wiper blades and the jets adjusted for the mot. its a little rough as youd expect also needs tax at £107.

Now heres the dilema my dad has acquired a peugeot partner van 1.9 diesel which needs an engine. iv found one for £250 ok, its done 116000 apart from 2 dents on the rear passenger door and one in the sill where it looks like its been dragged along a rock. its pretty solid. paintworks a bit dull (white) interior and rear is mint. its got tax until next year and a brand new exhaust which i fitted not long before the engine went. which should i choose. should i swap my dad and use the van or fix the 406 and keep that, i dont need 5 seats but wouldnt be bad having them but van space seems more appealing????? decisions decisions

see thats wha i was thinking. use it to do homers out of etc. good for long trips to pick up anything like wheels awell though the boot space in the 406 is quite big also. i fancy the van as i was on the look for one earlier this year but i got the 406 for 'sfa' just need to mot and tax it. its pinching my head this one lol
