like kelly said 1.6 bar by 3300revs a tdo4 just simply doesn't do that.
I think a tdo4 your looking at 1.3bar by 4200revs.
K24 is a much better turbo imo just from what i heard but obviously there are lots of turbos to chose from tdo4 wise plus it's a cheaper to get up and running.

theres no way a k24 is laggier than a k26 ask the ppl on the site who have owned both turbo's ! i bleieve toby had k24 and moved onto k26 and deffo noticed lag difference!

you on about a BLITZ k24? or just a normal k24 coz were using the blitz turbos!!!

we've had the k24 against a td04 and power graphs to show too.

blitz k24 is exactly the same as a kkk k24 from what i can tell. The fins all seem the same to me.

i thought i read somewhere that somebody said that, and i didnt mention your name so dont aim it at yourself :p

i just think its madness that ppl reckon a k24 is laggy.

as for the difference in k24 turbo's their must be some difference or else why would we pay blitz price for one like £1400 ish when you could go pull one off an audi?

as far as i know the is a couple of diff k24, one has a red tag as far as i no that one isnt blitz ,the one with the blue tag is and it also has numbers on the housing that starts with "5326", i emailed a guy in americe b4 bout them he reckoned the one with the red label was laggier and dropped off early at the top end

K24 aren't cheap you're still looking at £350+ just for the turbo and thats second hand and the chances of it needing a rebuild are quite high. Plus also you need to get hold of an adapter and external waste gate which is another £400+. A brand new k24 on the other hand is like £2000 at a guess.

i remember someone thinking the trim might be slightly different but i don't think anyone was ever able to confirm this, also it may vary from different models of cars to what exact spec they are. They also came on some porsches. And another thing is don't be fooled into think blitz make turbos they all come out the same factory at the end (borgwarner) of the day they do sometime hybrid them tho.

As a K24 owner i would recommend it after all as most will agree even thou i am going for huge power eventually its not all about the BHP its about the smile it puts on your face and trust me the K24 midrange is SAVAGE !!!!

yeh it all came out the same factory at the start but blitz have put their mark on the turbo!!!
glanza300 - our turbo has blitz plated logo on it .

Bristol- least we know what a k24 feels like ;)
