white smoke during idle.

guys, need help, just wondering on my gt 82 , only during idle white smoke comes from the exhaust ,reading rpm below 1k.. and then i tried rev reach to reading rpm around 1.2-1.3k .. smoke was gone.. is it fuel overflow or what? or should i make the rev idle to rpm 1k above?
or any other problems can cause white smoke..

maybe a cracked headgasket burning water ( white smoke ) idle chould be around 900rpm anyways

i was just about to post about this in regards to mine.

i get a minimal to no white smoke on tick over but then bring it on to boost and a bit of white smoke comes out.

think so get sniffer test done in ur local garage

Pull the plugs and see it any are wet. If you find any wet ones then test the compression in that cylinder and you will most likely find that it is low.

just a note but the white smoke i was getting was to do with the PCV.

i purchased one off ebay for a 1999 lexus/toyota for £13 and then used a rubber grommet/sleeve from an old engine breather... all sorted now for under £20 (normally £40 minimum)
