i guessed most people were gonna say super unleaded of some form, whether it be from shell, bp, tesco etc etc. i have only ever used shell super in the cupra as the day i bought the car i put £20 worth of normal unleaded in and it caused problems, missfire and spluttering but since then i only ever used shell super and it's been fine but it got me thinking about the glanza.

I've used normal unleaded for three years with no problems. I dont see the point in wasting money on the more expensive fuel as it dose not make any difference in my experience.

I;m sure those with more modified EP's wil always say V-Power etc.

i always use high octane or vpower, when i had my boost controller set on 1 of my old glanzas i was advised to use vpower or high octane.

v power here too. theres 2 stations near me, the closest 1 is 114.9 per litre and the 1 a bit further out is 106.9 so i always make sure i've got enough to get there lol (yep i'm a tight scotsman)
I only use v power as using normal unleaded is the suspected cause of jezzas last engine detonating, dont ask how though cause i dont know lol

:homer:

Anyway, I used Tesco 99 and V Power when I had the Starlet, depending on where I was.

I use normal unleaded but with a shot of STP octane booster. This helps by restoring any loss in performance, hesitations, knocks and pings.

Its also a cleaning agent that will clean carbon deposits etc... from your fueling system.

It only costs a fiver and raises the octance level of your normal fuel.

Works out cheaper than 117.9p per ltr or whatever the capitalists charge these days! Id love to run my GT on Vpower but cant afford it at the pumps....or they dont have it if I pull into a random station round my way so keep a bottle in the glovebox

From the day I bought my car to the day I sold it, there was only one occasion that it never got V-Power. That was on a trip down to see Nick@TD. I had to use BP Ultimate instead as it was the only nearby station.
