the price difference is not that much different anyways if you thing about it...
v-power is what... 110 pence/litre... and normal unleaded is 100 pence/litre?
so to fill up the starlet you're making a saving of £4 at most... which you will probably then spend on crap in the shop :p

that the my reason for only running V-power :)

You wont notice any difference if you put v-Power in it to be honest. I whack some in mine from time to time but dont notice any difference with it.

Other day put normal stuff which lasted for a few days, it didnt feel alive further down revs but with v-power it goes to rev range way better with out missing a beat, i excellent mileage with v-power (bp - rob down my ends).

cool. thanks for all the replies guys. seems like v-power is the most popular and most recommended then. i only ever used v-power in the cupra anyway but from what i've heard the VAG 1.8t engines only like high octane stuff anyway and the one time i didn't use it i got problems. i've always run my glanza on normal unleaded (only have basic mods, exhaust, filter etc) so if i start to use v-power from now on will it have any effect on the engine ? basically, do you guys think i should start using v-power from now on or just keep using normal unleaded ? and would an engine suffer if it used different fuel on a regular basis ? not that that's what i'm going to do, just curious to know.

thanks.

Standard cupra can hande normal stuff, if the car been mapped it would take higher octane, other wise it would pull back the timing imensly! With v-power its both worlds, good for the engine, good mileage (unless you always have heavy foot) and better performance:)
