Love wire tucks, look awesome and i agree with wires and boost piping everywhere looks too cluttered like mine :(

I think Idrees over on UKSC was on about doing a wire tuck on his V, i think the PP lads may have done some before too

I am not for nip and tuck personally.

I believe Jap engines are primarily meant to look busy with loads of wires, pipes, earthing wires etc. This whole nip and tuck seems very 'German' to me which I can't stand.

If it rocks one's boat then that's awesome.

Its something id love to do with my own bay,can look very cluttered at times.

Ive been looking at some project threads over on dtd lately and there are a few lads that have done them to there civics and they look the job.

To do the job rite you'll need to pull out the engine and remove all the uneccasary wires in the loom that ya dont need which is more or less the powersteering and the abs, this will give the bay the clean look. When all the unwanted stuff is gone or either pulled through the wings or routed out of the way you'll need to weld up and fill all the holes that are there with paint to follow.

It would be very hard to do in a turbo injection car. Alot of the german cars its done to are carburettor N/A cars that have much less wiring but it can be done. Its just time consuming and expensive and i would get an expert to do it

dont be fooled, hondas have kits that make it easier for them.
purpose built harnesses. chasebays is one name.
id say renew the harness, group an zip tie wires an make them neat
an add 20psi an roll.

Tried to hide and sort alot of my wiring, moved alot underneath Inlet and juts taped alot together so it looks neater, but with wires for every gauge etc etc its bloody hard work lol.

I'll hide the fuse box and associated wires eventually but thats a winter/ engine out jobbie I think:(

I'm not a big fan of it. I like an engine bay to look like it was built for a purpose not for showing. Hence why mine is strictly business.

They are gorgeous, anymore pics Krissy?

Would love to see more shots of that engine bay.

I'll get some finished ones this week of the Piping back on and the samco water hoses along with the FPR and everything else so you can have a proper butchers fella.
