Wire wool/mesh in exhaust?

Any ideas on this? is it to make the exhaust quiet? its really quiet now so u think if i pull it all out would make any difference? or is it likely to be attched inside sum how?

your baffles have broken, put on some gardening gloves reach in and rip the stuff out

me and my mate ripped it out of his gt turbo, it wasnt too loud when it was all gone

You'll be suprised how much of that stuff is in there.

When the baffles went on the k24 gt with the kakimoto exhaust filled two carrier bags full of the stuff and more was still coming out!

Also make sure you dont get it on your skin takes ages come off

We just got a new system in the end looked up the exhaust and could see lots of daylight where the exhaust had rotted away!

its so quiet at the moment so a bit of noise will be nice
