Wiring query?

Basically wiring in the boost gauge there is a sender in the engine with a black red and white wire coming from it. From the gauge there are black red yellow orange and brown. Ive wired the reds together from each to a 12v supply, the blacks and brown to earth, yellow to the same 12v supply. Lights up and the needle does a start up sequence.

That leaves the orange and white connect them to together and the needle drops below 0 bar as it should showing vacuum but on boost there is no reading the needle does not budge. Wired up wrong or the sender in the engine goosed?

it would help somewhat if you told us what boost gauge this is. someone here may have experience with it..
it will also help massively if you tell us precisely where you are taking the 'readings' from. iirc, boost gauges need a sensor/sender (that usually comes supplied with the gauge if it's electronic).. so ideally, you'd be getting your 'readings' from this sender.. unless you are plumbing in a mechanical gauge and you just need the wiring for the backlighting..
