wirring help 4 oil gauges!

hey lads, got an oil presure gauge & a oil temp gauge, i want to wire them up can anyone help? a diagram or thread or any info would be great...!

Black would be Earth

Red would be Ign Live

And Yellow would be SdLgt Live

Red needs to come from the ingition barrell find the switched live that becomes live when you turn the key,

Yellow to the wire that becomes live when you turn your sidelights on.

And Black a clean piece of metal connected to the cars chassis

all i have 4 these is the gauge and the 3 wires coming from them, i should have other connecters shouldnt i?

Yeah, but im sure there should be another set of wires or an adapter to wire the sensor into, or is it a mechanical type?

Well, those three wires are definatley for what i originally posted.

So, is there a nipple on the back for a pipe to connect to? Or another plug for some more wires?

Do you have a link to the exact one you bought?

i've got autogauge ones sat here waiting to go in my car so if you post pics i can check the wiring instructions which came with mine see if thats any help

Hmmm, How odd, well, unless my original wiring idea was wrong, but i cant see it some how, unless, there isnt a seperate live for the lights, and it lights up permenantly,

did it come with a sensor?

no mate no sensor il have to buy 1 think their 10 or 15 euro so. my apexi boost gauge light is on permanently, if that means anything to you wires wise! thanks a mil 4 all your help btw!

Well, i imagine, that might be what is the problem, the one for the sidelights, might be the one for the sensor, did it not come with a wiring diagram?

i got the diagram here right :
the plus sign on the back with a bolt next to it you need to wire to ignition switch.
the s with a bolt is for a wire which goes to the sensor.
the negative in the bottom middle with a bolt is for the ground.
the yellow and red and black are for the lightin as far as i can work out not the best wiring diagram lol.
