wont start??

well lads bought a glanza der last week didnt hear it going the head gasket was gone i took the head of and put it back together wont start am not gettn any spark anyone hav dis sorta prob befor any ideas wat it could b??

What have you ruled out? battery dead? all leads in place including king lead?

nothing is damaged and all electrical plugs are back in?

is the distributor engaged with the end of the camshaft?

i took the wire of the coil earted it still no sign of spark, i had jump leads on the batt so it aint dat, am gettn petrol mabey its alarm but dat wud cut of petrol cuming up??

imobiliser could be kicking in yes, im sure it wont be a big problem

ruled out a few more tings today hav current at the coil it looks like its down to no current at the plug for the distributer?? why could dat be??

IF ur not getting current down to the dis cap it could be the king lead gone, replace all the lead mate try that,

no lad the connection with the four wires giong into it the distrib has no current at dem??

oH right get yea now, have u checked that no wires are traped of fuses blown etc

Have you double checked starter motor/alternator connections?

Have you ever heard it turn over before or after purchasing it?
