Workshop Robbery

On the 3rd of March my father and I got to his workshop to find the gate off its hinges and the main door wide open we had been robbed. They stole every single tool in the place totaling over £13k, most tools where not your average or small for that matter they includ a 180amp snap-on mig with cut hose for argon,2 400 amp starter/chargers both snap on. The one set of tools that will stand out was broken out of my personal box they are a Mac tools Bar Honda F1 tool kit in 4 blue moulded foam trays all these are black with a silver union jack on all tools. If you see any of these tools or know anything about this crime that happened in borehamwood hertfordshire and comprised of 4 people in a van of some kind i would be very grateful of this info.

gutted for you mate, my old man also owns a garage and i know how hard that must hit your business.

did you not have an alarm of some sort?

Prob never be sorted police closed case said they could not find any thing so they gave up, just have to make sure it dont happen again and start rebuilding tool collection. Unless we can find who did it another way then someone will be :shoot:

Very bad news Dave, one of the worst things that can be done on anyone is to steal tools... it makes me feel sick when I hear of someones tools stolen from their van etc.. its a disgusting crime.

I'd be pretty upset if someone stole my tools, and they're far from £13k worth :(

I think its got a lot to do with the personal touch each and every toolbox has (like a car).

Hope you get it all back, or at least some of it mate.
