been out awhile, think they online did them in the 9 tho.

Very nice and different, would love one, stick the dog in the boot and boost away.

why not?

doing so increases the target audience for mitsubishi - especially for the performance car lovers who need an estate car, bar the nissan stagea there isnt much competition for 'hot' estates from the other manufacturers, mazda? honda? toyota?

cracking idea imo!

BMW, Mercedes & Audi have some excellent estates though. In my opinion these are the estates that car performance lovers will go for - obviously budget pending.

what estates do they do that will compare with an evo estate that costs 25-30k?

M5, RS4/RS6, and whatever merc's badboy is called - all about 50-60k and not going to appeal to tuners or car modifying enthusiasts.

At the end of the day estates don't really appeal to car modifiers/tuners at all do they? Hence why you barely see them on the road. How many EVO estates have you seen on the road? VR4's? Legnums? etc.
