If your talking about the front tyres then going of the drivers side one it is on the correct way.

eit: infact both front tyres are correctly fitted.

Yeah that's not an official verdict or anything, the car is being inspected in a couple of weeks. Someone looked at the photos and said they looked like they were on wrong. Maybe they got it wrong, it does seem to make sense because the way it just spun out is a mystery really but anyway, it's happened now and everyone is ok. A car can be replaced (as nice as it was).

The engine was still running apparently, someone turned it off, I was lying on the floor at the time, so i assume the turbo is good. I will probably keep anything that looks half decent for spares for my next one I can't get anything off it yet until it's been inspected

The amount of concern from people really hits home how lucky i was.

nah definetly facing the right direction pal. However tyres new/old can still aquaplane hence why believe it or not you should always have your best tread at the back of the car! however no customer listens to me haha.

Once the car has been investigated, i'll hopefully be able to confirm what happened, but reason or not it's happened, and fingers crossed the insurance pays up ok. It was fully comp and had the FMIC & Exhaust declared. Caused over £10,000 of damage to the crash barriers too. I was on my way to ISTS to show it off at the time
