and was wondering if anybody has ordered one before, if so, how quickly did it come? Did you have to pay import tax? What was the quality like? Any pics of it fitted? Any noticeable changes in power/torque?

I know that some of you are going to say, "Order it from Dave!" but incl. gaskets its £150 so I could save myself a much needed £50.

u might aswell order it off dave mate for the extra 50quid its not worth it u could get import tax. and if it cracks or theres something up with it its gonna be hard to send back!

at least if u buy it off dave u know ur gonna get a good service if u need help!

This is true. Just sent him a u2u asking him about strengthening- I swear I read somewhere on here he was getting them sent off to be strengthened - so may be less likely to crack. Dunno where I read that though, could've been making it up

well if not its very easy to get done yourself mine cost a fiver to get braced! and took about 5 mins lol!

Oh wow, where didya get that done? I notice your in Sussex, doya know anywhere that could fit the mani for me? Would do it my self, but don't have any tools down here and can't be bothered driving home !

i got it done at a metal fabricators near me they are very good welders and the brace is about 6-7mm thick and 25mm wide and ive been running k24 set up on it for a good few months with no sign of one crack!

Live in Brighton actually, bout 10mins away from Sussex Uni if you know it! You ever go down the sea front? Apparently theres quite a few starlets down there at the weekend!

Have you fitted one before ? Doesn't look THAT hard but I'm feeling a bit lazy and dont have any tools and stuff here!

Not sure about the RR day, still only standard. Planning on getting a mani, then BCC and FPR...run 1Bar and see what happens lol. We should get a mini-meet going!

lol yeah fit everything myself made my side exit and fitted k24 setup the only thing i hav't tried yet if forging an engine but that will change soon lol!

u should come to rr day then u can see what ur running stock then compare it once u done some mods!

for £40 cant go wrong lol!

yeah no probs mate! had my turbo setup off and on... erm ... 26 times now i think lol so i can do it fairly quick now lol!!

same experiences with zena racing as jones36 mentioned.. ordered some silicon hosing from them and arrived within reasonable time..
